Planning to complete an internship this spring to fulfill the Augsburg Experience requirement? Now is the time to register your internship regardless of if it is for 0, 2, or 4 credits. Follow these steps to complete your registration:
- Complete the Internship Registration Form: All students need to fill out the Internship Registration Form. Before you start, make sure to review the instructions below based on your credit type.
- For Zero-Credit Internships:
- Let your internship/work supervisor know that you’ll be registering your position with Augsburg, as they’ll need to complete an evaluation at the end of the term.
- When completing the form, select “Non-Credit Internship” for the department and course number.
- Remember that even though this is a zero credit class, there are two required assignments:
- Location & Supervisor Survey and
- Final Reflection Assignment.
- For Credit Internships (2 or 4 credits):
- Discuss your internship with your faculty supervisor before filling out the form to ensure that you have discussed a plan for what assignments will be expected of you to earn credit for your internship.
- After submission, the form will be sent to your faculty supervisor automatically for approval.
