As the academic year wraps up, we’re proud to spotlight the impactful journey of students in the Travelers EDGE (Empowering Dreams for Graduation and Employment) program. Designed to increase the pipeline of students who not only attend and graduate college but also pursue rewarding careers in the insurance and financial services sectors, Travelers EDGE continues to make a meaningful difference.

Cultivating Skills, Building Confidence

Throughout the year, participants in the Travelers EDGE program engaged in a range of enriching experiences aimed at strengthening both their professional and personal development. From mastering practical workplace skills to gaining insight into real-world challenges, the program ensured students were prepared to thrive beyond the classroom.

Highlights included:

  • Game Show Battle Room – A fun and collaborative kickoff that helped break the ice and build community among EDGE scholars.
  • Professional Development Institute (PDI) – A signature experience of the EDGE program, PDI featured immersive workshops on career readiness, leadership, and communication. Scholars had the opportunity to hear directly from Travelers leaders, gaining valuable insight into their career journeys and what makes Travelers a dynamic place to grow and thrive. • Angel Foundation Volunteer Event – Students gave back to the community by assembling Angel Packs designed with activities to help parents speak to their young children about cancer, treatment and its impact.
  • Networking Skills – Through guided exercises and real-time feedback, students sharpened their ability to make lasting impressions in professional settings.
  • Compensation Negotiation Workshop – A standout session by our Travelers partners that empowered Scholars to understand their value and advocate for themselves confidently during the negotiation process.

Creating a Stronger Future

The Travelers EDGE program is more than a scholarship—it’s a launchpad for future leaders. By combining financial support, career preparation, and professional development, it helps students navigate college and enter the workforce with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

We congratulate our graduating seniors who are ready to launch their careers!
