Travelers EDGE Informational Session (Virtual)

Travelers EDGE (Empowering Dreams for Graduation and Employment) is a rewarding program that strives to increase the pipeline of students that enter and graduate college and go on to launch their careers in the insurance and financial services industry.Come learn more about the program and hear from current Scholars and/or Alumni who have benefited and are now working full-time at Travelers Insurance. Components of the Program: 
Financial Support – Annual scholarship
Professional Development –
Annual Professional Development Institute in Hartford, Connecticut
Paid summer internships at Travelers Insurance
Access to all Strommen Center services and events

Mentorship – Paired with Travelers employee or Travelers EDGE alumni
Peer-to-peer Support – Monthly cohort meetings with all Scholars during the academic year; Part of the EDGE “family”
Academic Support – Monthly 1:1 check-ins with Program Managers relating to coaching, advising, tutoring and/or connecting to other resources
Who are we looking for?
Current high school senior planning to enroll at Augsburg University in the 2025-2026 school year (OR) Current Augsburg student who is a first-year student
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Planning to study one of the accepted majors.
