Step into a critical leadership role supporting people, process, and flow across Walmart’s supply chain.
In this short program, you’ll step into the role of a Walmart area manager and experience what it’s like to lead a fast-moving team in a busy distribution or fulfillment center. You’ll practice real tasks, like walking the floor, adjusting shift priorities, managing mid-shift disruptions, and supporting your team through operational changes.
You’ll complete four tasks at your own pace, gaining insight into the daily responsibilities, decision-making, and leadership involved in keeping freight—and people—moving. Along the way, you’ll build skills in operational planning, team communication, and leadership under pressure—skills that are critical in supply chain and transferable across industries.
Whether you’re exploring operations and leadership careers or are already interested in supply chain management, this simulation will help you understand what it’s like to lead on the ground and drive success in one of the world’s largest supply chain networks.
This program is self-paced. It takes approximately 1-2 hours to complete.
