Grab and Go Career Readiness Modules
The Strommen Center has designed career readiness modules that you can incorporate into your classes. Each module includes a PowerPoint presentation with corresponding notes and a lesson plan. The presentations include interactive activities and supplemental worksheets and materials.

Partnership with Faculty
For internships, we provide:
- support to faculty supervising student internships for academic credit
- individual advising for students in all majors related to internships for credit or not for credit
- assistance with students on internship academic guidelines, policies, and registration process
- assistance with students writing drafts of internship learning agreements
- advising for the Jr/Sr. year Augsburg Experience options and opportunities
- a non-credit transcript notation for internship and work experiences related to student’s major (can fulfill Augsburg Experience)
- development and coordination of listings of paid and unpaid internship opportunities for all majors (Handshake)
For major and career exploration, we provide:
- professional career counseling, coaching and vocation planning
- interest, skill, & personality assessments (MBTI, Strong, and Strengths personality interpretation) for individual students or classes
- assistance with faculty who are interested in learning more about career-related topics and employment trends
- classroom career related presentations and general workshops on campus
- an on-line resource library on career fields and graduate schools
- resume writing, interviewing, job search strategies for individual students, classes, student organizations
- maintaining web based internship and part-time, summer and full-time career job listings (Handshake)
- preparation for students attending Career & Internship Fairs
- planning and promoting fairs and employer seminars for specific career areas
- coordinating employer recruitment and employer classroom presentations
